The Poppy and Parliament

The Poppy & Parliament is an upscale English Pub located on the historic downtown square in the vibrant, up-and-coming city of Huntsville, Alabama. The Poppy was established in May of 2019 and the addition of the Parliament was opened in November of 2020. The facility boasts ample indoor seating as well as a beautiful patio space. Our menu focuses primarily on upscale English and Irish fare, selections of perfectly grilled steaks, fruits of the ocean, house-cured charcuterie, and beautiful warm salads. We continually rotate blackboard specials nightly which consist of hand-carved steaks, fresh seafood, and delicate desserts. We are eager to include local and seasonal ingredients on our menu and are constantly looking to better ourselves to please the public in every way possible. We specialize in imported draft beers, cask ales, craft cocktails, and an adventurous wine list. Das Stahl BIerhaus is no exception offering all the above and more! At Das Stahl Bierhaus, we have 32 taps of constantly-rotating craft beers, ciders, and meads. We have very few “regulars” on our tap wall, so check back often to make sure you don’t miss one of your favorites! You will always find a “nitro” beer on Tap 1, ciders and meads on Taps 17 and 18, German beers on Taps 29 though 31, and an “easy drinker” on Tap 32. The rest of the wall will contain a well-curated mix of other craft beer styles, including IPAs, Stouts, Sours, Ambers, Pilsners, and Lagers.
